The principle
This is based on using intense pulsed light in the optimum spectrum (according to the skin type and skin colour) of 540/570/650 nm – 950 nm with AFT and EDF. This light penetrates the skin without any damage. It is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) inside the hair shaft and follicle and turns into heat. At a surrounding temperature of 65°C - 70°C, the protein inside the hair stem cells and follicles that are in the active growth stage (anagen stage) is denatured, so that no more growth or regrowth of any hair is possible.
