  • Intense Pulsed Light
    
  • with intense pulsed light technology, innovative, non-invasive and
  • non-ablative treatments are possible. Optical filters reduce the light
  • emitted by a high energy (xenon) light source to a specific light
  • spectrum. Depending on its wavelength, the light penetrates the skin up to
  • a specific depth. Due to the selective photothermolysis, the target
  • chromophores are heated and thus destroyed. Selecting specific wavelengths
  • allows the adaptation of the emitted light spectrum to the different
  • indications. Thus, the intense pulsed light technology is used for photo
  • rejuvenation (treatment of teleangiectasia, small vessels, skin damage due
  • to UV-light, photo-ageing, wrinkles). Most often, vascular and pigment
  • lesions as well as tattoos and unwanted hair are removed with intense
